From Crain’s Detroit – Rare pieces from renowned sculptor Auguste Rodin and work of Marshall Fredericks, who built the “Spirit of Detroit” statue, will be auctioned off this weekend in Detroit.
They are part of a collection of more than 700 items being auctioned on behalf of Robert Schweizer, fourth generation owner of a longtime German restaurant along the Detroit River.
