CLARKE'S GLASS FAIRY LAMP CHANDELIER, LATE 19TH C., H 30", DIA 16 1/2"

Clarke's cut glass fairy lamp chandelier, possibly model 128. The five cut glass arms, each with a fairy dome and bobeches heavily cut in a diamond pattern, issuing from a diamond-cut bulbous receiver, above a straight standard terminating in a prism-hung canopy. One shade does not match the rest, and has a slightly different pattern, but is acid signed to the bottom "S. Clarke's Patent Trade Mark Fairy" to bottom. All cups with Clarke's trademark to interior. From the Estate of Dr. Henry and Grace Stricker, Milford, Michigan.

Condition:
One arm of the chandelier has been damaged and partially repaired with glue but is unstable. One of the shades has a hairline crack running down its length. The standard has a slight crack along the upper canopy. Has not been electrified. (MK) One fairy lamp globe is a replacement. JMF
